Aerotech is currently hiring a Stock Selector to work in our facility in Pittsburgh, PA in RIDC Park.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications
Precise, consistent work output requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time
Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space
Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material
Cuts stock to size to fill order
Fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders
Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles
Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock and maintains records
Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments
Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued. Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments
Consistent, error free work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success
Makes adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock
Must be able to operate a computer
It is preferred that candidates have experience with pulling parts from a pick-list
Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time
Qualified candidates must be able to work in a steady, even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
