Field Sales Engineer - Central West
Aerotech is seeking to expand our sales team for our US operations in the Central West Region. We are now hiring a Field Sales Engineer to handle the region of Kansas, Missouri, Southern Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, and Western Ohio. A key aspect of the job includes the ongoing identification of technical problems and developing solutions. A thoughtful, persevering, self-disciplined approach to achieving accurate, detailed work is essential. Do you enjoy having independence in your job? Completes lead follow up in a timely manner
Conducts face-to-face selling visits; minimum 20 visits per month
Completes weekly log of activities for submission to Regional Sales Manager
Develops and maintains effective and efficient territory sales plan and time management systems
Creates an annual territory sales forecast with the assistance of the Regional Sales Manager
Investigates customer requirements for product applications
Resolves customer problems
Expands current product sales to existing customers and introduces them to new products
Secures orders for company products and services required to meet the established forecast and sales goals for the assigned territory
Prepares quotations and proposals for delivery to customer
Assists in the preparation of, and participates in trade shows and formal product demonstrations
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field from an accredited college or university
Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Candidate must be able to travel 50% domestically
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
