Product Support Engineer

Position Summary:

Provides post-implementation technical support, basic programming, and start-up assistance to customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate directly with customers helping them understand product usage.
  • Provide start-up and post-implementation technical support on all current Aerotech products.
  • Suggest documentation changes to the design engineering team.
  • Gather relevant data for design engineers to troubleshoot and/or reproduce the problem in order to develop a solution
  • Provide technical analysis in problem situations.
  • Provide basic program code examples.
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting of products.
  • Document product support activity with findings, actions, and resolutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering or similar field
  • At least one year of related experience or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Understanding the basics of how analog and digital circuits function
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • .NET programming desirable 
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
