The Electromechanical Drafter/Designer uses SolidWorks and AutoCAD software to create 3D solid model designs and the required documentation to manufacture and assemble electromechanical components based on input from design engineers
Creates solid models of components using SolidWorks software
Generates sheet metal components and documents required for manufacturing of components
Develops internal production and support documentation and assembly drawings
Produces system wiring diagrams using AutoCAD software
Performs quality checks of documents
Create and maintain part numbers, bill of materials and configurators in MRP system
Associate of Science Degree in Electronics, Drafting or similar discipline required
Zero to two years of experience including experience with 3D solid modeling systems; SolidWorks and AutoCAD software packages preferred
Familiar with sheet metal dimensioning and tolerancing
Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship. Aerotech does not provide U.S. work authorization sponsorship for this position. OPT and CPT visa holders are not eligible for employment if they will need work authorization sponsorship at any time in the future.
