Assists upper-level engineers with development and design of precision electro-mechanical systems using solid modeling software
Performs testing on mechanical equipment using laser interferometers, capacitance probes, autocollimators, indicators, digital levels, accelerometers, and other metrology equipment
Troubleshoots production problems in manufacturing and assembly of components used in precision mechanical designs
Analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications
Performs detail drawing and drafting of fixtures, mechanical parts and assemblies, and other components used in Aerotech products for both customer and in-house usage
Confers with senior level engineers to clarify or resolve problems
Prepares or directs preparation of product and user documentation
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
0 – 3 years minimum experience
Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship. Aerotech does not provide U.S. work authorization sponsorship for this position. OPT and CPT visa holders are not eligible for employment if they will need work authorization sponsorship at any time in the future.
