What does an Accountant at Aerotech do?
Prepare journal entries, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records
Compile, sort, and file documents substantiating business transactions
Verify and post details of business transactions
Reconcile accounts to eliminate discrepancies
Answer all vendor and customer inquiries
Assist in monthly closings
Prepare financial reports
Prepare analysis of accounts as required
Assist external auditors
What Knowledge, Skills and Abilities does an Accountant need?
Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and colleagues
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail; ability to type accurately and proficiently at a high rate of speed
Outstanding customer service skills to include complex resolution abilities
Ability to gather data to compile information, and prepare documents
Able to work well and be productive under limited direction
What are the minimum qualifications for an Accountant?
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university; or equivalent experience
