Position Summary:
The Storeroom Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision to Storeroom employees.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads and manages all Storeroom personnel through candidate selection, interviewing, onboarding, and employee training
  • Assumes ownership for the accuracy and reconciliation of inventory transactions within the ERP system
  • Monitors team member performance through coaching, counseling, and, when necessary, disciplining employees
  • Schedules and assigns employees to tasks weekly
  • Determines methods of storage and identification for components, finished goods and work in process
  • Oversees kitting and receiving operations by coordinating personnel and enforcing company policies
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts, periodically inspects current equipment, and creates requisitions for repair or replacement
  • Routinely reviews Storeroom processes for opportunity to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Generates charts and presentations for monthly, quarterly and yearly metrics
  • Collaborates with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering leadership to ensure a high level of internal customer satisfaction

Additional Duties:

  • Controls inventory accuracy by coordinating and performing inventory counts as needed
  • As assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of communicating information to ensure understanding  
  • Skilled user of computer systems and ERP software
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail; ability to type accurately and proficiently
  • Able to investigate and resolve operational, procedural, or system-related issues effectively
  • Quick-learner with the ability to transfer the acquired knowledge to others
  • Ability to pull, analyze, and present data

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain, or four years of relevant equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment
  • May be required to sit for extended periods of time
  • The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
